Hallo deskundigen!
Om mijn antenne-instelling een meer permanent karakter te geven, moet ik mijn aansluitingen waterdicht maken. Nu is mijn vraag: moet een Bias tee in een HF-dicht doosje, of kan deze in een kunststof behuizing?
Volgens mij kan deze in een kunststof doosje want de gebruikte smoorspoel en condensatoren zouden geen HF-problemen veroorzaken...
Wat is wijsheid?

Ik stop liefst alles waar HF doorheen loopt in blikken doosjes. Tegen storen of gestoord wórden. Misschien overmatig voorzichtig.
Nuja behalve baluns, maar die hangen waar stralen of ontvangen de bedoeling is.

Een BIAS-Tee zou ik als deze 'in line' gebruikt wordt altijd in een RF dicht doosje monteren. Zo heb je n.l. ook geen gedoe met massa aansluitingen etc.

Suggestie: eerst een bias-Tee in een RF dichte doos monteren en deze op zijn beurt in een (spat) waterdichte behuizing.
RF blikjes willen nog wel eens gaan roesten in de open buitenlucht na verloop van tijd.

Ehhhm waarom zou je de bias-Tee in een waterdicht kastje moeten maken? Die leg je toch binnen?

Je hebt ook waterdichte spuitgiet-aluminium doosjes waar je een bias-tee in kunt maken. Dan heb je ook wat meer "vlees" om stevige connectoren te monteren én het zaakje is waterdicht.
