I had an idea I heard that the Elio p5 has a car radio

But where is the antenna placed ?


I think a detachable antenna in centre of roof (metal roof panel) at centre
is the best place if it had a pl259 plug and so you could easy attach all
kind of radio transmit/receive combo antenna already on the market with pl259
connection like diamond/comet.

An already mounted quality coax cable with bnc plug mounted to the dash board.

so every Ham radio amateur could plug in a Baofeng/Wouxung/Tyt/AnyTone transceivers with FM reception and transmit 2 meter / 70 cm maybe a CB transceiver.

It would certainly attract licensed radio amateurs but also young drivers.

It would be fun driving the Elio and be mobile active as radio amateur.

It also could spark car fox hunting again because it runs cheap so driving for fun
doesn't cost so much.


I think a antenna in centre of roof would make the Elio p5 look even more futuristic then
without.

The antenna can put and very easy removed if the car is parked I think.



I also thought this:

Grandfather and grandson, granddaughter talk.

Grand Daddy you are not going to get and bring me to school with that gas guzzler not sexy looking
big car of you I want to go to school with the energy efficient funny good looking Elio p5.


Keep up good thinking with the Elio p5 project


One question does the Elio p5 has a catalyst ?

Is is possible to buy it in Europe as well in future ?

Ik heb al eerder naar het boek verwezen op dit forum, maar doe het hier nog maar een keer:

Ray Kurzweil - The Singularity Is Near - (2006)

De naam van de schrijver komt ook veelvuldig voor in de context van de filmpjes waar door jou naar verwezen word.
De titel van dit boek is ook de naamgever van de "Singularity University".

Dit boek beschrijft/"voorspelt" precies wat jij en anderen nu zien gebeuren.
